Hawaii Five-O is a well known and reputed American television series, which was produced by the CBS productions. It was originally ran for Twelve seasons from 1968 to 1980 and continued in the reruns as well. The story revolves around the fictional police department of Hawaii ran under the supervision of a detective named McGarret played by Jack Lord. The theme song of this series was the most popular one and was composed by the Morton Stevens. The whole series was shot in Hawaii and most of the episodes would be ending with the McGarret ordering his subordinate to put a charge, specifying sometimes “Murder”.
The series was produced by the CBS productions and aired from 1968 to 1980 from the CBS interactive. The reruns are still on air on the demand of the audience. The whole series was filmed in Honolulu, Hawaii and in Oahu or in the other Islands of the Hawaii. Occasional locations include Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
The story revolves around the fictitious police department of Hawaii, which was created on account of the day on which Hawaii was declared as the 50th state of US. The department was supervised by the Detective and Rt. US naval Officer Mr. McGarret, who was appointed by the Governor. The whole team used to solve mysterious cases and police team was often assisted by the Forensic expert, a medical officer and a secretary.
For the whole twelve Seasons, McGarret and his team used to catch, international detective, agents, murderers and smugglers involved in spreading crime and plaguing the Hawaii state Most of the episodes were ended on the catch of the enemies by McGarret and his team. McGarret with the help of attorney General sent many of his enemies behind the bars. McGarret at the end of every episode alleges a charge against his enemy and says like “Book ‘em” and most commonly “Book ‘em Murder”. This was the catch phrase of the McGarret and was very popular among its viewers.
