Wings is an American sitcom that ran on NBC from April 19, 1990 to May 14, 1997. Starring Timothy Daly and Steven Weber as brothers Joe and Brian Hackett, the show was set at the fictional Tom Nevers Field, a small airport in Nantucket, Massachusetts, where the Hackett brothers operated Sandpiper Airlines. Exteriors of Nantucket Memorial Airport were used for the show. Interior scenes were filmed on a sound stage at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California, before a live studio audience.

Other regulars include Crystal Bernard, David Schramm, Rebecca Schull, Thomas Haden Church, and Tony Shalhoub. Farrah Forke later joined the cast for two seasons. When Forke left, Amy Yasbeck joined the cast for the remainder of the show's run from 1994-1997. Church left the show in Spring 1995 to star in the Fox sitcom Ned and Stacey.

Wings was created and produced by David Angell, Peter Casey, and David Lee, who had been writer-producers on Cheers and later created Frasier. Characters from Cheers occasionally made guest appearances on Wings.

American Humorous drama “Wings” aired on NBC from 1990 to 1997. Tim and Steven were brothers in the drama. The studio was set in a fictitious airport where two brothers used to fly Sandpiper. Outside of Nantucket airport were utilized in the show but inside scenes produced in Paramount California before it was presented to live audience.

Other characters were Crystal, David, Rebecca, Thomas and Tony. Farrah became part of the show for 2 seasons. Amy replaced her in 1994 till end of the show. Thomas also left the drama in 1995 and became part of Ned and Stacey. Creators and producers of wings were David, Peter and Lee. They later created Frasier. Occasionally special guests of wings were performers from Cheers. Trio series were production of Paramount. In UK, trio series were broadcasted on Sky One as well as on Paramount Channel.

Joe is amazing pilot with responsible nature. He is owner of plane. His childhood dream was to be a pilot and so fulfilled his dream. He became guardian of his house hold after his mother’s disappearance and father became harebrained. His plan was to start the Sandpiper in co-ordination of his fiancee whose name was Carol. But unfortunately his brother dispelled off with his fiancee. It caused a break up between them.

Brian was careless and irresponsible person. His nature of irresponsibility caused many problems to his brother Joe. He got admission to Princeton but unluckily was dropped from the university. He then got admission in astronaut program organized by NASA. But after a little time, he was discharged because he was not trustworthy person. He used to say that I wanted to take my girlfriend to the simulators then he would become a good astronaut. He missed golden opportunities of his life. He went to Mustique and used to run rent fights. Carol, which was the reason of breach between two brothers, eloped with another person leaving Brian. At this time father of Brian and Joe died. Brian returned back to his brother and Joe happily allowed him to enter the house and also offered him a job. Brian was ashamed what he had done.
